Types of Searches

The Search tab is where you can search for cabinets, ddrawers, folders, and files in Docufree. By default the Search tab opens with quick search, but other search types are available as indicated in the image below.

Area	Description
1. Close All button	Click on this button to close all opened search tabs.
2. Quick Search button	Opens a new Quick Search tab. Use quick search to execute simple one word searches across the entire site.
3. Index Search button	Opens a new Index Search tab. Use index search to search the entire site or specific folder locations against a document type value and/or one or more specific index values.
4. Advanced Search button	Opens a new Advanced Search tab. Use advanced search to execute more complex search criteria against the site or a specific location.
Sub Tabs	The multi-tabbed design allows working with multiple searches at once. You can move between each tab/search to multi-task.
