What is the Files Tab?

Docufree organizes items in a traditional cabinet, drawer, and folder structure. The cabinets, drawers, and folders that display are based on your permissions. You can have full or limited access to the cabinets, drawers, and folders.

Your documents reside in the appropriate folder location within the Files tab. Docufree stores all documents in their native format to preserve the integrity of the original document. Documents are rendered in a browser-friendly view as an image file rather than its native file for faster viewing and printing. Access to a file's native application is not required. Therefore, users who do not have the original document's native application can view a rendered image of the document. In fact, many file types can be rendered in Docufree without requiring any proprietary software.

Note

Image files such as TIF, GIF, etc are not rendered. They are immediately available for viewing upon capture.
