# Inbox Sections

The inbox tab is where you access communication items or active work items in docufree. To the left of any inbox pages are the links to various sections listed below. The workflow-related sections are only available if your have licensed the workflow component.

# Your Inbox

Your inbox can hold incoming electronic files from another user or fax/email (a Docufree Primary Administrator or support person can help set this up for you) or files you've uploaded to it. You are the only person who can see the files in your inbox. You can move files to the appropriate folder location from your inbox using a number of methods.

Best Practice

Even though the inbox can also present workflow task items (an opt-in function), the best place to view and work with workflow items is still through the My Tasks section.

# Sent Items

The Sent Items section holds the records for the files that you have sent using the Share function in the Viewer. Items appear in your sent items automatically as you work with Docufree.

# My Tasks

My Tasks section presents workflow items assigned to you or your group. You can take open items or work items assigned to you.

# My Submitted Items

My Submitted Items lists any active items that you have submitted to a workflow. You can quickly see where any item that you submitted to a workflow stands in the process.

# Workflow Monitor

If you are a monitor for a workflow, you can see and take action on any active items in that workflow in this section.
