# Quick Search Tips
Quick Search executes simple one word searches across the entire site by default, but it's possible to use wildcard searches as well. Use an asterisk along with a search term to conduct a wild card search. The asterisk can be placed to the left or right of the term or surrounding the term.
Example
Type man to search for the exact word of man. The
word must be found exactly as typed.
Type man* to find results for manhattan, management.
Type *man to find results for handyman, roman.
Type man to find results for McManus, Lemanski.
For more complex searches, use Advanced Search instead.
