Unlock Files

The file viewer allows users to edit certain types of files directly, and a lock is placed on the file during this edit process. Occassionally this lock may be left in place when the edit mode is exited improperly. This tool allows you to remove any locks places on files.

Note

Unlocking files manually like this is usually unnecessary since locks become invalid after a while.
